Just modified JC P-70 to kero-start. All's good as ,it started both times. Seems pump pressure is rich for karo unit as flames exisits just prior to running. Maybee pump pressure to turbine should be slowed down? Waiting in action with no clue? What do you think? Wayne

Hi Wayne,
I know there is an adjustment but I do not know how to do it, I am trying to get in touch with Bob now to get you an answer. I believe a very small flame might be normal, I am not sure as I do not have one myself yet.
More later, sorry for the delay,

Is it possible to have a wet start with a few failed starts with the kero start? (sorry not sure if it burns or how it actually works [&:]) And is the stock 1250mah battery ok to use with the kero start and a P80?

Do you have any problem installing the kerosene start? can you tell me more about your experience relate the P80 and the kerosene start?
Thanks.

Wow dragging up a six year old post, must have looked hard for this one.
If you follow the manual for instaling the Kero start plug and slow the pump down as instructed in the manual to only give a drip out of the Kero supply tube you should not have a problem, all of my retrospective conversions have worked without any problems, by just following the manual.
