Default Throttle cable sig se

How does the throttle cable work on the sig somethin extra? I don't want to waste my time setting it up if it doeesn't dwork well. Seems like it would be sloppy to me.

The 1st pic is of my 2nd SSE- built to the manual without any mods. The 2nd is of my last SSE- as I was using a mini servo it fit nicely in front of the fenolic tube. Btw, the role of the phenolic tube is to serve simply as a bushing for the wing tube. It has no structural role - this is per Mike the designer.

About using a cable - unless the run is straight it is my #1 choice for the throttle linkage as it can be routed around the fuel tank as necessary.

Nick - the pic of the mini servo is BEFORE the "J" hook hole was adjusted to be vertical rather than horizontal. With horizontal not enough room to easily loop the rubber band over the tip of the hook.

I used wing bolts so that wouldn't be a problem, but I have the throttle tube and servo alreadt mounted so im goin with the stock setup and cable. But i'm gonna use the micro on my next build. It is a good idea abnd will be one less servo I'll have to buy. Thanks!
