Default Robart hinge point installation - angled - help sought

I am building an AMR Trainer 26 and I'm looking for help with the installation of the Robart hinge points. This design is hinged on top with points angling into hinge blocks. Here's a photo from the manual.

There's a lot of Robart hinge installation help online but very little for this configuration. Here are my questions:

1. What angle should I be drilling at?
2. Should I be drilling into the corner formed at the joint of horizontal and vertical surfaces?
3. How do I keep the drilling angles consistent from one hole to the next?

At this point I'm thinking of two jigs (one for the wing and one for the ailerons) with a brass tube inset at the correct drilling angle. Other ideas or advice are welcome.

I have made guides out of hardwood once I have figures out what the angle is supposed to be. By using hardwood I am able to cut it to size so I can line it up where it needs to be to drill the holes. Good Luck, Dave

grosbeck get the skin, sheeting on those edges before you drill them and be very accurate with the location marks If you redraw the profile end view you can see how much angle you have to work with, try to make it a bit more than a 45%. Take one of your hinge points and see how much it will bend to help give you an idea about the angle needed. Glue the guide blocks so they fit the angle nicely, 3/4"x1.5" makes a good guide depth, set it on the structure and mark the angle that will set the hinge head in the right place on its edge, also mark the center top of block for center alignment when you drill the holes. The angle doesn't have to be the same on both sides but the hinge pivot does. Hope this helps.

Thank you, gentlemen. Very helpful. I will be making the holes before I cover the wing as per the manual, but I will not install the hinges until after the covering is done. Whatever I do end up using as a jig will appear in the build thread.

The angle of the hinges holes is not important as long as they are drilled in solid material.
What is important is to have an exit opening for the cement to exhaust and not come back on the hinge line.
The hole diameter should be just so the hinges just fit in without looseness ( clearance ) that would allow the glue to come out at the hinge line.

Another importance, of course, is to have any middle hinge(s) in perfect alignment with the end ones.

I just do not see any problems.
