Hello all,
Just looking for some advice about a second kit to build. I just finished my Super Sportster 60 and it turned out great. Took me almost a year because I wasn't dedicated to it, but I finally got it done. It was quite the project too, especially for a first kit.
But now I'm looking for a second kit. Probably something more in the 40 size, as the 60 became quite cramped working in my room. Maybe a warbird? I've always like the design of the Corsair.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

The great planes Coursair is a good one. The Skyshark kits are supposed to be goodies. The Hellcat looks nice. So does the Stuka. Good luck with whatever you end up with.

try the GP P51. it's not much harder than the SS.
it has driffernent procedures to improve your building skills
it has a modified ultrasport's wing.
you can learn how to install retracts, plus less storage room when the wheels are up.
mount the engine sideways and mount an in cowl muff.
paint cowl and canopy, and exhuast.
wing's flairing at fuselage and wing tips carving.
i just got done building and covering mine.
would have been cheaper if i bought an ARF.
but it allowed me to reinforce the retract mounts and angle the wheels to
sit 1- 1 1/2" in front of the LE when extended and conseal in the wing when retracted.
i've never installed retracts before. i laugh and cried during the process.
i enjoy building it thou. 2 months
of labor of luv.

I recommend Top Flite's Stinson Reliant SR-9.

Are you a troll, or do you just not read. He said a 40 size plane! If he doesn't have room for a 60 size kit, where in the heck is he going to build that monster?

Hey Leftnut,
I'm thinking of the GP p51 too.
Which retracts did you use ?
Did you make any diversions from the instructions ?
What engine do you use and how does th P51 fly with it ?
Any other tips ?
