Default GP Patriot Tail Surface Help!

I am currently working on my first GP Patriot and have some concerns over the elevator and rudder linkages as built per plan. I typically use pull-pull on the tail surfaces of my higher performance sport planes but am hesitant to run cables on the outside of that slick looking jet fuselage. Does anyone have a solution for connecting the Patriot tail surfaces internally that is superior in terms of slop and structural integrity to the plan?

Thanks in advance for all input!

There is really nothing wrong with the way they are set up as per the plans. The pull-pull setups are nice for some of todays planes with their giant control surfaces, but the Patriot is an older design and really doesn't need them.
