Default Adhering Cockpit Combing

Hi Folks,

I have some sig cockpit coaming. What works best for adhering the combing to balsa?

Thanks

Scott

I use rubber glue. Roll it on the edge of the balsa with a Q tip, leaving just a trace of glue on the wood.

Usually the coaming forms a complete circuit around the cockpit and tends to expand outward and thus stay in place, even without glue.

I use thin CA glue with a fine tip on the bottle. Put the coaming in place (as much as you can) and carefully apply the CA glue. Put more of the coaming in place and apply more CA - kinda like you glue a little at a time as you go.
