Hi guys, just a little background before my question, I'm building the Great Planes Electricub, (60" WS, 4 channel) It's the first R/C Plane I've ever built (it's a full kit)
I think I have a wing problem, but I'm not sure.
I'm starting the wing build,
I've lined up the LE, TE and spar TO THE OUTER WING RIB as per the instructions, here's the problem:
When I insert the spars (W4 if you're looking at the plans on the website), assuming the LE, TE and spar at lined up to the outer wing rib, then all the other ribs in from the outer W4 rib ARE NOT perpendicular to the LE or TE, but rather they're all at about a 15-20 degree angle towards the fuse.
If, I line up the wing so that all the ribs except the outer rib are at a 90* angle with the TE and LE, then the outermost rib is on the opposite 15-20 degree angle.
I am 200% positive that I have the correct LE and TE for each side and they're oriented properly, so it's not me, the instuctions DO state that the ribs probably wont line up with those on the plan, but the plan still has all the ribs at 90 degrees to the TE and LE.
So do I have a problem? defective parts? are the notches probably cut incorrectly in the LE and/or TE?
thoughts?

This is a stab in the dark, so if it doesn't apply, feel free to ignore it --
A lot of airplane wings have a smaller bay at the wing root than the other bays, so if the left leading edge was assembled with the right trailing edge (or vice versa) there would be a slant to either one rib or all but one. Any chance you've got either the LE or TE for the wrong side?

No experience with that plane but it sounds to me like you either have an LE or TE switched or possibly upside down. Definitely the ribs should be parallel to forward, not at an angle.
They say the ribs probably wont match the plans but they should be pretty close.
Looking at the pdf file they show the notch end on the LE at the wing tip but the notch end on the TE at the wing root. Possibly you have em both at the tip or the root? That would mis-align em for sure! I would re-check that.
First time builder, it is VERY easy to do something like that. Been there, done that, where is the CA Debonder?
Anyway, thats my 2 cents worth.

I think you have the slotted leading edge turned around. If I am not mistaken, the notches on the root end are different from the wing tip end. I believe there is an exra notch which would alter the alignment if it is on the wrong end. Turn it end for end and see if that makes a difference.
Good luck.
