My Feedback: (1)
Getting close to fixing tail plane to fuselage saddle and was wondering if I should cover and finish it with my West Systems resin and .6 Oz fiberglass before I fix it in place to the fiberglass fuselage?
I will be using West Systems resin and micro balloons to join.
Or should I glue the balsa straight to the Fuz and then cover it all after build completion.
Cheers,
Brad

after you glue it on. It's a more of a pain but allot easier to fuel proof after it's installed. get a trim sealing iron in addition to your regular covering iron. they'er worth their weight in gold. I really like 21st centurys trim sealing iron.

Hi Brad,
Greetings to the Indian Ocean side of Oz. I bet you're glad that Cyclone season is over?
What you propose will work. My preference is to glue the stab and fin to the fuse first and then cover with the cloth and epoxy. Once set I then mix some resin and micro baloons to make a fillet at the join. This alows you to use less resin (weight) and gives you time to concentrate on shaping the fillet.
Cheers,
Colin
