If you get a chance, put the plane on the floor or the driveway so that all the clutter is removed from the background. Even If you have to get down on your tummy to take the picture.
I think you have created a fantastic plane. I'm anxiously awaiting the completion as I'm sure everyone else is. It is really cool.

ok well sorry yall i havnt flown it yet ive had to repair some things i was doing some test hopes at a feild up my road and the wing mount had poped off at the leading edge so i fixed both of them with some epoxy and new hardware also the wings didnt mount quite right soo i fixed that as well. the plane weighs in at close to 11 pounds witch is well over the stock weight limet but im far from stock soo hopefully it seemed to do well on the hopps it would take of at 3/4 and fast to like 20 feet. im just stil alittle intimidated to do the flight at a club. i had to add 1 pound of weight to the nose to balence it soo when fule of fule on take of it will be slightly nose heavy. heres some pics though got some stickers on it im also looking for sugjestions on a new kit for this fall. i was looking at the senior telemaster with a tiger 50 and flaps ????

Just a thought....You may want to make that maiden flight at the field. There will be onlookers that may notice something you don't prior to liftoff. Also, should something go wrong you will have many eyes to help you analyze the issue because you will be concentrating on getting the plane airborne safely.
Don't snap the plane off the ground. lift it slowly and gently to be sure you don't stress anything on liftoff.
It looks great.

Go to your local hardware store and get some small springs. Gear designed like that are meant to have springs anchored to the 'ear' of the tail wheel, and hook the other end to your rudder horns. The springs should be soft, as they are designed from tail wheel stresses stripping your rudder servo. Nice build BTW. First time for me in this particular thread.

Sorry, I've never seen a hook-up like yours before. It looks like a free swinging wheel to me. Maybe that wire needs some bending to shape it for hook-up to the rudder. I'd look for a wheel that fastened to the rudder for stearing purposes. That's just me. I'm sure someone out there has a solution for your setup. You might check with Dubro or other companies that make different kinds of tailwheels.

In the third pic, you can see the rods on either side of the tailwheel, the springs that DeadEye mentioned would go from there to the double horn that is on the rudder. They should be fairly soft springs so that rough ground doesn't beat up the rudder servo.
BTW, The plane does look pretty good, But I'm afraid you may not be able to call that one an "Eagle" any more. It is definetly one of a kind.
Nice Job.
