I have not stopped on it yet. I started covering the control surfaces yesterday. Look good to me. I will be going on vacation for the next 7 days so I will finish covering when I return. I"ll post some pics then.

Great build Moto. I love the colors.
Was nice to see a build post that wasn't 50 or more pages long and ends in a cliff hanger or like this,
Page 60
Sep 18 2003 Going to cover the wings tomorrow.
July 5 2007 What happened with your build?
Oct 23 2008 Oh that plane flew good. Sold it years ago to another guy in the club.

I have a cliff hanger out there too. It's been there for a long time.
Hopefully I will get videos of it flying soon.
I learned how to do videos with my camera last weekend.
I would like to learn how to edit them once I down load them to my computer.
There is a lot of nothing but sky in a lot of the film.
I want to cut that stuff out and just show the plane flying.
Any tips on cutting the barren sky out, please PM me.
Thanks.

Yes please edit those videos before you post them! I watched this video of a Ziroli Panther. 10 minuet video, 8 minuets of the guy trying to start the engine then two minutes of him flying.

RE: Bud Nolsen Mr Mulligan
Maidened this morning after the fog lifted. Nervous as a ***** in Church. Wen"t well after trimmed out with hands shaking like I had never flown before. Second flight I rolled inverted to check the CG. Right on the money. No up or down input required. Flat turns really nice too. First landing smooth as could be. Second not so smooth. Outer wheel collar came loose and caused the wheel to lockup so we skidded to a stop and flopped upside down. Cracked wheel pant and flying wire on stab pulled out of connector. Very lucky. There is a video of it but I will havr to do some work to get it posted. I will try soon though. I will be ready for our annual giant scale fly-in next weekend. Thanks to all for the praise though. Nice to hear after all that work.

Congratulations on the maiden flight! Sorry about the mishap on landing #2. Doesn't sound like the damage was too bad though. Looking forward to seeing the video.

Thank you mwhar760, You haven"t received you short kit yet? Keep me posted . Yes ,it does fly as good as it looks. I tried out the smoke system today. Wow ,alot of smoke. Pulled the engine down just a bit so I installed a flow control valve to get it to were it didn"t pull the engine down but still alot of smoke. Looks cool.

the rcgf engines seem to be pretty good for the price! i have their 26 cc in a seagull 90 size yak. i just got a reply from lazer works mine will have 2 wing tubes but here's what they said!!! Hello Mike,
Yes we are almost finished with it. There's a few details left to work out on the fuselage and we will have a new cut file ready to go. Just give me a couple more days and I will get back with you with a total.

Eddie Taylor

RE: Bud Nolsen Mr Mulligan
I purchased this plane partly completed and I have no idea what kit it is.
It started life as a DGA 6 and is now a DGA 15. More specifically a Navy NH-1 Nightingale.
I'm looking for a smooth cowl and it will be extremely close to scale.
I have an Echo twin 62cc conversion engine in it now. It was a chainsaw motor before I got my hands on it.
I have 8 flights on it. They were with a G62 and the power was great.
But with the long approaches it really shook the dickens out of her.
I put a 96" X 1/2" carbon fiber tube in the wing and that really stiffened it a whole lot.
I believe it's a 110" wing.
It flys very nice. Loops, Rolls, Hammer Heads all with ease.
I don't have any video of it in the air but I do have one of her on the ground with the new motor.

The last two pictures are actual Navy planes. As you can see there is a lot of variation in them.

Sometimes if you pout long enough or just cut them off they will do some things you wouldn"t imagine. Great for you, usually doesn"t work with my wife though. She just says do what you want because you know you will anyway.
