Is the one you are going to order my Christmas present?

Left wing pics. This is one of the easiest planes to build I've ever built. I'm gonna order another one just to put away.
My son is a great help. It's so much easier to let him glue while I hold ribs, ect.....

Hmm, I pretty sure mine has a 12 oz. tank. Have a Satio .56 and get some fairly long flight time out of it .Once the 46 is broke-in I would think you should get at the very least 12min flights. Longer than that , if you don't fly wide open all the time.
I,m guessing a 5/8 oz burn rate per min. I have a burn rate chart somewhere, just can not find it right now. Sry .What size does the instruction call for ?

Have you considered cutting off the cheeks and building an engine cowl? There is a link in my Tiger build thread, posting #7. I betcha those instructions will work for the 4* as well. After I get the Magnum in the morning and mount it to the engine mount I will be ready to start my cowl. I think it would look slick on the 4*.
Heck, here is the link.

That's pretty interesting. I plan on ordering another one hopefully soon and may do a cowl on that one. the Tiget looks good with it, much sleeker. Which Magnum did you get?

II got the .91 4 stroke with the blue head. You will be able to see ittonight sometime in my build tread.
I have looked at Mr. Pierce's site in the past and I am just in awe of his building skills. I believe if you follow his technique you cannot go wrong.

I just realized that I have to move the back receiver wire, can't get it out once covered, DOH...... Once I get the 7 channel receivers from Hitec, I'm only going to have the one receiver wire under the canopy.

I've never built a Sig 4 star, so I don't know if this is an issue. But I thought it would be good to know. This link recommends that the fues be re-enfored.

All I can say is wow! I am somewhat of a beginner, but i'm serious about my new hobby/life haha. I unfortunately just lost my four star yesterday from doing low 3D. I was inverted down the runway and when I gained a little altitude I rolled out with the plane still losing altitude.. I pulled back but it was too late, a random tree took my four star at the club field around 3 35 :[ I was very surprised with how well I am taking it but I HAVE to have another one! I only need a wing kit! Everything else is already to go.<div>

Flyboyxc,
Sorry to hear of your loss.
This is a very easy kit to build, the laser cutting makes it simple. The instruction book is quite good also with lots of pics. I say go for it. I've got several arfs but there's a certain satisifaction one gets from flying a plane he/she built. If you need help, there's lots of people here to help but the kit is so easy, I doubt you'll need it.
