Hey guys:

I have an old LMH, a 110 I believe. It's got the .06 engine and a piezo conversion. It's been about a year and a half since I flew it.

I'm thinking about dusting it off and maybe doing some upgrading. I'm wondering about the current models and their differences from what I have. I'm consideing if it's even worth it to do the conversions or just buy a whole new one.

Anyway, it looks like there are longer tailbooms available. Are there longer blades too? What about crutches? I would guess I'll probably go with the .07 engine instead of a new piston/cyl for the .06.

I wih there was a FAQ or a 'sticky' post that outlined the differences in components between the various models.

only difference between 110 and 116 is the blade, boom and possibly the clutch gear ratio. 117 update it to 07 motor. 120 is electric. oh yes, no more mechanical gyro.

So, how about some recomendations? Can I just use the .07 motor on what I've got? Any problems with that? Will it need a different clutch?

What about the longer tailboom. Is that better for tailrotor authority?

Must I use the longer blades if I go with either of these?

You can use the 07 on your 110 crutch, I did. You will have todo a little reaming the area for the fit. When I got the Vmax7 upgrade, it came with instructions as towhat to do. You will definitely love the more power.
