DLE30!

A lightweight with quite impressive specs. and if it runs anything like the other DL's it will be making headlines. It would have been nice to see it having a bit narrower footprint but I guess all those guys with big cowl models will be smiling. Looks like the next few months are going to be interesting times with two new 30cc engines about to make their debut, and we can only benefit from it.

Definatly not something I'd try. I guess their safety standards are a little different.
On another note I was surprized at first on the carb set up as well. But when you think about the target this engine is designed for it needs to be very short to fit into allot of the 120 size planes. At least going with a side carb/rear induction it isn't as wide as it would have been it they had put the reeds on the side of the crank like some engines.

Jody... Please keep us posted! I love my little CRRC Pro .26 but could use a little more punch. I'm interested in price, performance and availability. (Aren't we all?.?.) There are soon to be other choices.

The DLE-30 will probably not be sold on price either. Actually DL's are not that cheap compared to other Chinese engines ($410 for the 55). They don't seem to bey selling on price because they have a pretty good engine and have a decent distributor network and support.

JoeAirPort; NIB DL55 can easily be bought for under $260 a piece.
For the DL30, I wasnt expecting side carb with this one..
If it outruns MLD28 then it will take its place quite fast, and be a best seller.

OK folks, as usual the rumors and speculations have been very inaccurate, the retail price for the DLE30 is $319, they are listed on our website now and pre-orders are being taken. Expected arrival is still around the end of the month.
