CMP Cessna 182 .50 size wrong part

Two weeks ago I realized my Cessna came with the wrong size windshield. I called Nitromodels Aug-13 and the customer service rep, after looking at my cessna assembly thread and looking at the pictures of the evidence, said they would send me a replacement windshield right away. I just talked to them again yesterday and the CSR said they didn't have any parts so i would have to wait until the end of the month when they get their stock in and THEN they would ship it to me UPS GROUND (they said there was no other way). After all the positive things i've said about nitromodels and now i have to wait another 3 weeks (at least) for a windshield that was the wrong part in the first place. I don't think waiting 5 weeks after calling them is good service.
I am really disapppointed in these guys and i don't think i will buy from them again much less support their quality of service.

You mean in another 3 weeks? The guy I talked to clearly said they were not getting anymore in until the 31st. It's already been 2 weeks since I first contacted them and what bothers me more than anything is that those guys know they made a mistake and they won't even offer a faster method of shipment. They didn't even email me to tell me the part wasn't in stock. They just wanted me to wait without knowing what was going on or what they were doing. I've been to their website and the cessna doesn't say out of stock. Also, there's another thread where someone had issues with the same cessna, posted here and the nitro staff replied that there was a new fuse and wing on its way. Why can't they offer to send a simple windshield faster than ground? It's not like they are sending a 20lb box.
I am not the one burning bridges here, I stood by them and their quality until they did me wrong.
I did try to resolve this with them before coming here and trying to get this resolved in a more public manner. It's only fair that people know the truth. If they come here and rectify their wrongdoing, I will also make note of that.

I'm sorry about the situation reguarding the windshield. Yes you did post a msg under the damage thread and I've already stated my position that I'll let the manufacture know about this and they are work on new batch of windshield and will EMS to me once done. In the meantime, we have new batch of cessna 50 just arrived and I'll look into the new shipment and see if the windshield are different and I'll send you that one as replacement.
