And nice car list eman! I'm still driving that godawful Toyota, which given the winter we've been having has been terrible. I even managed to get my dad's Subaru stuck in all this snow once, a feat I have managed only once before - and that was because I was trying. Got his Subaru out ok but that Toyota has spent more than a few days stuck in the snow these past few weeks. I can't believe I seriously considered getting a Mustang this summer... I would have really been stuck then.

Ok I am changing this depressing subject NOW.
For those of you who don't know me I like 90's American muscle cars. I have a list of 4 cars I would like in my garage by time I am 40-50. I have listed the 4 and the price I will get it for. Discuss and criticize my list.
UK guys, I won't value your opinion too much as we have a different taste and style over here.
Lincoln Mark VIII (got it for $1,700) - DOHC V8
1995 Ford Thunderbird Supercoupe (buying next winter 2-3k) - Supercharged V6
2003-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT (10-20k depending when I get around to it) - Supercharged DOHC V8
1994-1998 Dodge Viper (15k now, 10k when I get around to it) - Dodge V10
I hope to have all 4 cars and be able to drive whatever I feel like to work that day.
Hopefully we won't be forced to drive electric cars in 20 years. I plan on driving old cars like these all my life and doing all the maintenance myself, new crate engines can be had for 3-6k and can really revive a car if I need it.

I have a list too I guess. Mostly old Subarus and Fords though. A Brat, a Mustang, a WRX, and an 80s Crown Vic would be fun.

I'm pretty excited, my new video card is supposed to arrive today. Nothing over the top, just an ATI 4670. I haven't bought anything in months so this is kind of a big deal anyway. Got a few games for Christmas and couldn't figure out why they were so choppy, guess that's because I have a midrange card from late 2005 in there right now. [&:] So even this card will be a big upgrade... Kinda like when I went from the Brat to the DI. (Ok, maybe not that big, as that was a 20 year jump in RC tech there!)
Anyway, next up is another RC! [sm=spinnyeyes.gif] Any suggestions? I deliberately kept myself away from RCU and Tower for about 6 months to keep myself from spending $$$, so now I'm out of the loop on what's out there. I remember considering either the Tamiya VW Beetle or the F150 Race Truck, but with all this snow maybe I should pull the trigger on a Blizzard.

Blizzard will be fun for the winter, that's for sure.. !! I think it fits your collection well.. since you got other RC cars..
I wouldn't recommend Blizzard as the only RC for someone.. but since you got plenty of others already.. !

I like that F-150 race truck myself. Neat looking vehicle, and inexpensive!

That's what I'm leaning toward, for sure. I like the VW too but it would get about as much use as the TB-02, which is to say not much. Much more dirt than parking lot around here!
Yep I have a pretty nice collection so far. Partially thanks to you LB! Which reminds me, I was just thinking I need some parts too... Specifically power related. A charge kit or adapter for my TX would be ideal, and those cheap Tenergy 2300s are starting to show their age even after just a year of use. It could be the Tamiya connectors though, they are looking a little green these days. Time to go Deans.

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
That IS really cool looking. Can't see much of the inside but it looks like it uses ducted fans, two perhaps: one for lift and one for thrust.
RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Would you prefer 4 cars in the garage, or 1 more expensive car?!
Just curious...
That's a good list.. no imports, eh?!

I love working on them myself and if I only have 1 car, it's hard to drive that to work and then add a superchager or engine swap in just the weekend

I am still trying to convince mechanizeddeath that he needs the proper winter RC...

You need to copy and paste the broken link (broken in the middle in purpose)..
RCU does not like "- -" together for some reason..
