RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Turnbuckles will be used to improve the steering setup on the Bosscat - this pack gives me a variety of sizes to choose from in the right range.
Maxx wheels/tires are going on the Pede. Traction should be better with those. Going to sell the stock wheels/tires on the bay.

Sheesh, I was hoping that you are getting a F201!!
Did you talk to Jim about them Maxx wheel/tire? Didn't he have that on his Pede project before... ?! He can probably comment on how much traction it has, etc.

You gotta love it when someone's specific, and others chime in with different brands:
Person 1: I want a Tamiya kit. I love Tamiya, must be a Tamiya. I want to put it together, a kit is a must. Would like to keep it under $200. Recommendations?
Person2: Get a Traxxas RTR VXL Rustler! They rock!

So my next kit has come down to the following, people can chime in with recommendations, but there is no use comparing the two so it really is just a matter of my preference. Racing F-150, Hotshot re re, Dark Impact.
RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Maybe I should get a Traxxas just so I can be one of them to recommend it!! Hee hee...
I say HotShot, AutoXMan!! Better get it before me!! (not like I am getting any RC anytime soon.. )

He seemed to like them, although I didn't ask specifics. Yep, he did have those wheels/tires.

I paid 28 - SHIPPED - for all 4 wheels/tires! Compared to the 70 on tower.
RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Nice! I think Eman should take that $70 order out of the cart, and add a new Tamiya kit instead...
Then he can get the wheel/tire from eBay like Jim...

Didn't run it enough to get tooo specific. I will say, you'd probably find a better deal on ebay for those wheel/tires.

I thought I'd find the same seller I bought mine from... But it looks like he's not parting them anymore.
Yeah, it was a heckuva deal.

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
I have the option to get those 6mm clamp hex hubs (TA05) for $11 shipped...from Japan. $2 for shipping - almost sounds too good to be true, but I gotta go for it! ($17.50 on Tower).

Yeah, it was a waste of $$. I wanted an easy way to widen it - at the time, it seemed like the only way was to buy Jato parts or something, dremel stuff down, hack this, saw that, and there ya go. Didn't seem easy at the time (although it probably is), so I shied away from it and got the wider alum arms that fit just fine no mods needed. They're nice, but I beat 'em up pretty bad already.
Oh well. Dumb mistake on my part - I'll do more research next time.
The skid plate has taken quite a few hits. Hehe - glad I got that thing. Solid purchase, that skid plate/wheelie bar combo.

Your running aluminum arms on it? That skid plate took a bad hit. Hopefully you'll be running again soon.

Stampede damage from last night. Nice shear!

You know what I'd be breaking bulkheads also. That wouldnt be good, because it's all one part, ID be breaking chassis left and right just like you.[&o]
I like the stock look of this car. But I'll never run this car, it's my trophy prize. Someday soon it will be discontinued and be worth some $$$
