Life comes and goes. I was out of the forums for a while there, came back, left again, and now I'm back.
Being unemployed now (along with the rest of this otherwise fine state) gives me more time to chill on the forums.

I'd like to point something out. I had a post I needed to report and noticed it got assigned to Foxy. Problem is he hasn't logged in since Feb. 9th. Can the mods maybe do something about this until the missing mods come back? Have reported posts go to mods that have logged in in the last seven days or something like that? Just a thought.

Moderating is an unpaid volunteer position.
I think we have enough right now, it's just that many of us have been busy with other things. The best way to get offensive posts dealt with is to report them. If you feel the need to get someones attention, PM me or another moderator. It's best to keep the forums clear of posts concerned with cleanup.
On another note, if you feel a member is harassing you, contact a moderator instead of adding fuel to the fire.

That's the point many of us are making. When we click report post, more than 1/2 the time no action is taken because of who it was assigned too.

It doesn't all fall on Sheograth to take care of the problem. Unfortunately because of several circumstances some tickets have fallen through the cracks and didn't get acted on. And I will apologize on behalf of RCU that this has happened. We are taking steps now to correct this problem and hopefully stop it from happening in the future.

Anybody interested in becoming a Moderator here at RCU is more than welcome to fill out and submit an application.

Be aware that just filling out the form doesn't mean you'll automatically become a Moderator here on RCU. We have a pretty extensive selection process that we go through when selecting new moderators.
