The servos are fine; virtually all futaba/hitech/jr newer than cca. 1990 are compatible with each other. What matters is to match the TX with the RX; futaba and hitech are interchangeable; jr and (I think) airtronics are interchangeable, but incompatible with the other two.

Manufacturers of equipment suitable for both standards specify which type is a particular device. E.g. GWS puts on their RX a small sticker showing either a "F" (futaba/hitech compatible) or a "J" (JR compatible).

You did not say what type is your RX (I don't know what universal receiver means). Anyway, if it's incompatible with the TX, it's cheaper to buy a GWS RX for your futaba transmitter.

You have given us no informatio about your problem. Are you not getting power to the servos? Is the motor turning? do you have trouble taking off?

A LOT more information please. We can't help you fix the problem if you don't tell us what problem you are having. Photos are always helpful.

My motors not turning and the servos are not moving. I'm asking would it be a problem if i have dual conversion crystal in a single conversion reciever and if my whole radio system is Jr (servos, esc ) but my transmitter is a Futaba i belive. Do i need a Jr radio for it to work or just a daul conversion crystal?

Yes, that would be a problem... you need the proper brand of crystal (Futaba, JR, etc.) and the proper type (dual or single conversion)...

and if my whole radio system is Jr (servos, esc ) but my transmitter is a Futaba i belive...
That's yet another problem... Futaba is negative shift FM and JR is positive shift FM... you need a negatiive shift FM (PPM) receiver to work with your Futaba TX... sounds like you have a JR RX, which is positive shift...

I once put DC crystal in SC receiver. hit the power and the servos woudl jump, then nothing. Put in Single conversion receiver and all worked properly.

As stated above, JR receivers are normally postitive shift BUT they may also make neg shift receivers to be used with other brands. I know Hitec ( normally neg shift) makes JR/airtronics compatible receivers too. Look to see if it says Futaba or Hitec compat on your JR receiver. If not, then you have two problems. Wrong crystal AND wrong shfit.

Radio and receiver have to match in shift and channel. Crystal and receiver have to match in brand and SC/DC.

The brand of servos is not an issue. All modern servos for 72 mhz systems will work.
