I have two irvine 53's and think they are great. I dont have any experience with webra, rossi, or any other higher end two strokes. No one has even mentioned the irvine and I am wondering how they compare. If I am that happy with the irvine will I be that much happier with a webra? Are the irvines too heavy? What gives?

What is the best engine for a fun fly?

The one you have on any of them that is reliable and lets you do anything that you are capable of.

Whatever engine anybody can name someone will hate it and others will love it. Thats just human nature being what it is.

That said, my vote would go to Saito and YS, BUT, I will use any of the others as long as it meets the conditions stated above.

and then there was rossi. yes a little heavy but also heavy on power fact.

I like my K&B 48. A lot more power than a OS46FX and passes the 98DB noise limit at my club field. They're tough too. It's outlasted 5 Pro Twisters and a couple of Uproars.
