And if Wal*Mart won't have a NASCAR driver, they won't have me either.

It's not a person or even a group of people, rather, it is a way of life, of seeing new horizons, meeting new friends, and most of all the free open exchange of ideas and theories, while being able to express those ideas openly without anyone telling you what is right or wrong to speak.
There are some of the greatest people in the world in that group who will, at the drop of a hat, GIVE a newbie a kit, send him a motor, offer parts free of charge, and all the advice he is ever likely to need without expecting anything in return.
They will welcome you with open arms into their realm and treat you like a brother from a different mother. Some of the best designers the RC world has seen regularly release new kits that literally stand the 3D, Profile, and Fatty plane market on its' ear.
I used to be strictly a circle flyer that occasionally duffed a plane while trying to do "Stupid" stuff like hovering, rolling circles, harriers, etc. THEN, I found the ProBros'. Since then I have realized there is more to RC flying than circles. Oh, I still do circles but in a different more fun way. I have a TopCap, Knife, Spa3d, Mustang, Stinger 60, soon to be Twist 40, all flying, and a Burrito 40 under construction. Now, you tell me, is it worth seeking out the Brotherhood?
I vote "YES".

Jim, that is one of the best responses I've read to the old "what is the Brotherhood" question.
There is a Pro Bro fly in coming up in Lakeland FL at some point. Our site can give you details.
Wal*Mart doesn't need a car, and why? Well, we sell all the stuff on the cars already, so adding our name would be redundant, I guess. Wal*Mart is greedy, not stupid, I suppose. Now, if we could just get our stock price back up...
I'm not kidding, do a build thread, and give us a flight report when you can.

RCU Policies:
The only type of linking (besides porn and spam, of course) that will not be allowed on our site is when members solicit people to leave our site to a competing service. That's just common sense. We won't allow people to use our site to promote a competing service any more than a brick-and-mortar store would allow his competitor to paste flyer's all over his walls. However, people are always welcome to link to any non competing online resource in order to share useful information with fellow members.

OK, I get it now. Thanks for clearing it up Plane Insane...
So, when folks are mentioning RCG (or any RC related forum) in threads, they get edited too? I've seen that in a place or two. As long as it's fair, I can live with it.

Yes there are "competing" services. RCU is a business just as they are. Think of us as Mcdonalds. Burger King and Wendy's compete for the same customers every day. We provide a service and value for our members and visitors. For that we are compensated. You won't see a burger king or wendy's customer in McDonalds handing out flyers directing them to BK or wendy's restaurants. Mcdonalds won't allow it and neither would we.
Other commercial forum sites like the ones you were linking to also compete to make money from the same customers by trying to offer value. RCU forums are not a vehicle to promote these commercial sites free of charge (the one you mentioned takes money for advertising). All the members who wish to discuss these topics can do it right here in RCU's forums within our simple set of rules. I apologize that this thread has gone off course. To any further respondents please post on topic of the original posters question and per RCU rules or your replies may be removed. Thank you all in advance for your cooperation.

Miami we've got a new company Ultiamte show plane that was just covered by John McNees. I'll email you the pics as soon as we get them. It's pretty hot looking another one of his masterpieces. It's not as high tech as his other trims, but it's hot.
Send me your email addy. Maybe you'll want to trim yours the same.

Thanks Dion,
I really don't like the covering as it is in the ad.
the transparent yellow reminds me of my ustick and
that was hard to see.
The katana looks nice in purple and white. allot of contrast!
Let's see what John came up with.
