Default Pull-pull on the sledge.

hi , just wanting to aks a question about connecting up the pull-pull system on my sledge, its my first go at doing this.
do the cables have to be the same lenghth. the other question is, does the servo arm have to be exactly 90 deg to the servo, im asking this because im not getting the same amount of throw each way on the rudder.
thanks

On the rudder and elevator the arm does not go 90 degrees to the servo. It goes 90 degrees to the direction the cables go. The cables go at a angle before they go into the fuselage. Your servo arm needs to be 90 degrees to that angle. Another way of putting it, say you servo arm has 40 arms on it all at 90 degrees. With the pull pull cables attached to opposite arms, the other arms need to be pointing the same direction as the cables. I built mine and I made the arms perpendicular to the servo and I could not get full throw in one direction.

SBR J, the instructions are pretty detailed (I thought) about this subject, you should be able to follow them exactly and be fine. Cables will not be the same length, most likely. The servo arm should be 90 degrees to where the cables enter the fuselage from the servo arm. Hope that helps, if not email me anytime at [email protected]. If we cannot solve it via email, I will call you.

im not sure but maybe im missing a page.
this is what mine says: install the the control horns onto the rudder and elevator, hook up the pull pull cables. use the outer most hole on the rudder control horn, and keep the cables tight, rudder flutter could happen:.
i got two pictures, one showing the servo arms on the bottom of the wing, but they werent 90deg to the cables enerting the fuse, i dont know, maybe its my fault for not figuring this out.
the other pic was just showing the cables hooked up to the elevator and rudder.
anyway ill give it a go at setting the servo arm 90deg to the cables enerting the fuse.
thanks for your help. ill report back when i get it done.

You might be missing the entire section, it should be pgs 22 - 25. Email me at [email protected] and I will email you that section.
