glue on a piece of balsa the size of the root rib over the root and then sand it carefully
That's exactly what I did. Worked out perfectly. I'm good to go!

The only other Q's I have is about mounting Radio/Batts.
What is the best method? Batts in the center of Fuse, Rx in the left wing? The sheeting on the wing seems soft(not covered yet)

RX in the middle of the fuse opening between the wings and battery in the left wing. If you opt to keep the plane assembled then just put the rx and battery both inthe left wing and secure with foam, etc.

Thanks for all the info. Got it covered. I'm going to install the RX in the center of the fuse.
Is it best to mount the wings permanently or removable?
What size fuel tank with the 55ax? I have a 6oz. What kind of flight time can I expect? 6oz. seems on the small side.

Can some one explain the Y harness Switch/ail single connection.

Thanks

I did not glue my wings on and find it very convenient to keep the plane modular for repairs. I've had to repair one wing already and have to do the other one after a dead engine cartwheel stunt. If you like the more solid permanent assembly though gluing the wings on is easy. No pain trying to assure proper alignment like previous designs.

I currently have the wings attached with the nylon bolt, the wings move a bit, seems solid but move.
It lines up perfectly. How much wing movement is acceptable?
looking forward to getting the maiden in on Sat.
still thinking about permanent mounting.

Some wing movement is absolutely no problem whatsoever. Trust me you'll never notice it in the air. And you'll appreciate the extra durability this offers. In other words in case you cartwheel or bang a wing, it won't break from the fuse or even break the fuse. The fuse is allowed to flex more and absorb some of the shock. Of course if you REALLY dork it in......all bets are off!
