I won't bring the Vette either. Will drive up in the VW Eurovan but wanted to cruise from Mempho with Paul and Gator. The idea is to leave the cars in Mempho, stack our planes in the U-Haul and then all ride in Pauls Suburban. Do I stand correct Paul ?
I am pretty sure the stuff on tap in Mempho will be OK for us Texans as long as it's Ice cold.

We have that same howitzer right in the middle of town..there is a Huey, a B-25, personel carrier, some other stuff, there as well.

Yeah, I was just kidding about the Vette ( I had one until about 2 years ago..a '64 Convertible, both tops, 4 speed,sweet...$300/month for liability :stupid: ) I didn't figure you could squeeze many planes in a Vette.


Don't matter to me..how long does it take to get from Memphis to Nashville?? You Memphis guys doing it Saturday morning?? I don't want to squeeze anybody out of a ride or look like I'm too good to cruise with you guys either..like I said, I'm flexible!

I can understand that......I think Paul and Gator did more flying than they did breathing! I mean, it was high-production flying. Their pit area was abuzz between flights, with them swapping batteries, talking about what to fly next, and tending to the bank of chargers operating off Paul's truck. Even after they killed the truck battery, they just got a jump-start, and left the truck running while they flew!

The guys saved a spot for our MH with our son in it real close to show center! Can't thank you enough for it.
Nothing but praise for the way things were ran. Safe and mucho fun.
I got up at 4am In. time and took a long walk. Man, the army guys work out EARLY! Heard them a couple miles away in the still air.
Carls chili was a real treat but I ate to much. Had to keep moving during the Sunday morning walk to keep the hot gas from catching up
Saw a few old friends and made several new ones.
Can't wait till next year!

Hey Mike, it was an honor to meet you. I'm also glad we were able to help with putting you close to center so that you could attend.

Hopefully us guys from Indy can drive over to your field before summer is over and fly with you there. We really enjoy having people come fly in Indy and we also enjoy going to visit other fields too. Does your club have any events coming up?

Jeff.......I never said I didnt want a pair of your exceptionally nice carbon fiber gear.......I just hated to pay more for the landing gear than I did the plane itself. It's a $25.00 spinsation...and thats it. Trust me.....you wouldnt want your gear on this plane. Besides, All I have to do is buy Jess a few beers and let him fly my Egde for his crazy legs. I think those Memphis boys won like 16 pair of them at the Houston event.

Ulf, I'll be heading straight to Nashville from here as Im about 2.5 hours due north of there. But Im certainly glad to hear that you and the Crash Monger will be there. Looking forward to the beer, tequila and mexican food already.

Jeff, I dont see any reason that I couldnt make it to your Fly-In tomorrow. I hate to say that it will be without the MAgic though......she expired last weekend at our airshow.

Man....being on the western most part of the eastern time is a great thing. We routinely fly until 9:00pm this time of year on our silly time....thats a beautiful thing!!!! Jeff, I just think he's jealous
