Gator, I ended up buying that Spinsation from the guy Sunday for $25. It needs a covering job BAD . Got any ideas???? ...or better yet...any ideas and a little free time.....LOL? So if I dont kill this profile before then I should have alteast the one profile this time.

Hey...you know anybody with an extra set of crazy legs for cheap? I almost hate to spend as much on the LG as I did the plane.

I know what you mean...I kinda got my Spinsation almost hovering at edinburgh......Jeff asked me if it would and I told him no...but then later I tried it and damn if didnt start torq'n , you got to put it on low rate rudder though....

Whoa,whoa whoa..... what is this about Wayne,extreme flight extra and a flame out? We left about 5pm on Saturday. The best time I have ever had at a fly in.Dave and Jon, you guys did a fantastic job. Had a fun time meeting everyone.

Yup..

Around 6 I was flying the 28% Extra and it was fine for the first 5 minutes of the flight.
I came down for a low harrier and as I got the nose up the motor died. It plopped on the ground and broke the front of the plane off.
We checked all the obviuos things... Fuel, Ign Batt, switch etc..

Yesterday i got an e-mail from Chris H. He told me that he found a pin in one of the connectors to the ign had come loose..

Why couldnt that have happened when I was flying above stall speed and have a chance to deadstick it in..

Because that would have been too easy...

I was right before the motor crapped out. Really! I was.....

I have been thinking about wgeffon and all that happened this weekend.

1. Wayne put in he Extreme Flight plane.

2. Wayne tried to fly the H9 Cap that had a radio was left on in the impound and had interefernce and had damage to it.

3. Wayne helped PUGS when PUGS did not have he freq pin.

4. Wayne helped me on Sunday when I took the gear out the Staud.

5. Wayne was flying the 40%er when he thought there was a rudder problem.

All this is being typed with a big smile on my face as I already have told Wayne what I thought about all these coincidences.

Just kidding, if you ever run out of planes just come and grab one of mine. Good to see that you could have such a good time after all the misfortune. Of course, none of those were your airplanes! I have found out the best way to not crash at a busy fly in is to just watch everyone else. Not as much fun though.

I'll be there ! I think I will arrive with the Memphis Crew this time. Might go up Friday to Mempho then ride with the boys up to Nashville. Then back to Mempho and fly with Gator and company still on Monday and head back home Tuesday ! Will you be going directly to Nashville, or also join in Mempho ?

Yep, Beer, Tequila, Mexican Food, Margaritas and Profiles is a good mix. But you definitely have to take those keys away from me this time. One bumper and headlight is enough. I'll just drive Billy's Caddy that night

That's an idea..I have to go right thru Memphis to get to Nashville..we could descend like a swarm of locusts on Memphis, then continue our trail of death and destruction to Nashville!

I'm pretty flexible..It kinda depends on what the Memphis guys have on tap (oops, a pun!).

I drive a pick-up, not a Vette so I'll just haul my pile with me.

I think we can rent a 6 x 12 uhaul for $25 a day...
