Anybody out there using the metal Sullivan control horns?
Today I was trying to taxi my P-51 and noticed I had no rudder control. Upon closer inspection i saw the control horn was broken. It broke right on the 90 degree bend. Sullivan had 2 types of this horn a short one and the long. This was the long horn that broke.
About 2 months ago, I had a Gremlin crash. I noticed the same kind of break on the control horns then but just thought it was because of the crash. The short horns seem to hold up but I am now having questions about the long ones.
Has anybody else had any problems with these horns?

I haven't used them either but I bought some and was going to put them on the GP Extra 300 60 that I'm building. After reading your post I'm having second thoughts. I'll be interested to hear if anyone else has had problems.

Ive been using them for about 2 years with no problem, I really like them & will continue using them. You are the first one I have heard with problems with these horns.
