I use a degree meter to set my throws and on all my planes I use max on rudder and 10 or 12 degrees up and down on ailerons and elevators. That is a great place to start, then during trim flights I'm able to dial them in the way the plane likes. I do have different starting points for 3-D planes but this is where I start with pattern and IMAC planes.

Rye,

I finished a Kazmirski Taurus last year. I followed the plans for control throws. However, I did use digital servo's and the ailerons were extremely sensitve. I wond up putting exponetial on the ailerons to desensitze the response. That worked very well. My question is why did you reduce the aileron length by 8 inches. You will find this airplane is a terrific flyer. When you cut the throttle on the landing approach it seems like it will never stop flying. Really great and no tip stalls. I will check my set of plans for you to identify the control throws.

Is that a K&B .48 on your plane? If so how do you like it?

hi
i am using two wing servos and made the wing a bolt on so i took out the center section where the wing servo was to make it stronger and added more wing to the ends where i cut off the 8 inches of ailerions
