Default Spinner problem

Hi all,
I'm trying to install a Great Planes 2-1/2" aluminum spinner on my Magnum 61 2-stroke, w/APC 11x7 prop. I bought the 5/16 adapter for the shaft, (threads in end for spinner bolt). The adapter set comes with a washer that accepts the shoulder of the nut. I have WAY too much prop shaft left and the nut/washer is nearly 3/8" from tightening when it bottoms out on the shaft. Suggestions?

You have the wrong adapter nut..You probably have the short one and you need the long one..

Are you double nutting using the stock nut? Stock nut on first then the adapter.
