I am sure this question has been asked before but here goes. I recently rebuilt a crushed plane and I want to know
how to determine the proper engine thrust angle for this plane. Since I had no plans to go by and I had to scratch
build the fuse. from the wing forward I did not figure in any thrust angle into the firewall when I rebuilt it. This palne was
a tower voyager ARF and I could not find any plans on it so I gave it my best shot and it turned out pretty good looking
however I have not flown it yet. I have checked all the important stuff such as CG and control throws and everything
is within range but I had no info on the engine thrust angle. I took a stab at it and put in about 3 degrees of downthrust.
(I hope I am reading this right but downthrust is when the engine nose is pointed down so many degrees from level
isn't it ?) from 0 level.
