Default Flaps

I am putting a World Models Super Stunt ARF together. This is my first plane with flaps and I need information on how to hook them up. Hitech RX and Hitech Eclips 7 TX. Can someone give me a quick lesson?
Thanks

Use a "Y" connector so both servos are plugged into the Flap channel.

You can use a strip aileron set up and operate them with 1 servo.

I would use separate servos without the Y-connector so that they can be used as flaperons. If you're going to use two servos anyway, might as well make the most of it.

I can't help you with that. You have to program the transmitter to mix the two channels. The directions should cover it. If not and you don't get an answer here from someone else, then call Hitec. I'm sure they'll be happy to help.

Okay. When you mentioned flaps, I assumed you had separate flaps and ailerons on the wing, if so, I'd use the "Y" connector and plug both servos into the flap channel. Not sure which that is on your radio, but likely channel 5.

If you don't have separate flaps on the wing, then yes, you'd have to use "flaperons" and two servos plugged into separate channels. Likely 1 and 5 or 1 and 6, then mix them in the transmitter. Do you have the manual? It should tell you how.
