I have a Hangar nine P-51 and had a Kyosho P-51, and they both developed the same problem. The inboard trailing edge of the wing split open. Is caused by too much speed for the wing and is there any changes to the wing that could be done to prevent this from happen? Thanks for the help.

Spritz some CA in the opened up area, and clamp straight.
Recover the trailing edge, lapping the covering over the trailing edge's top and bottom.

Pauls simple fix is right on, but without seeing the actual strain put on the wing, it's hard to say how to prevent it in the future. Speed itself won't harm the wing, do you think you are pulling too many g's? Easier with speed.
