yup xt2 im lookin at gettin that xt2 pro. it wasnt that bad to clean either just let it dry a lil and use the air comp. to blow it off. the front end and the body was the only bad parts. does anyone race the xtm? just wonderin how it does under pressure.

Showtime...that is a very nice looking buggy...
...and not a single shock boot (dust cover) in site
Croyle....XTM does have a racing team and i think that "PRO" model that's coming out soon is a product of that team and it's efforts and R&D. But honestly, to race something like the XTM X-cellorator XT 2 RTR...WHY NOT???
Upgrade the radio, set the shocks up right and change out the stock diff grease for diff oil.
It all depends on who you're racing against mate. If you're up against wrench twisting fanatics with degrees in physics and mechanical engineering and they're driving the latest all singing all dancing buggy wonder of the natural world that's loaded with every single after market hop up and upgrade, and a few of their own home made specials[>:]...well...you're probably not going to beat them.
But if you're going up against local clubbers with pretty standard pieces of kit....remeber, driving is probably 70 - 80% of winning the race. The guy who usually commits the least mistakes and takes the smoothest lines is usually the guy who wins. One flip on your back and some bad marshalling, and you've gone from 1st place to 5th or 7th. Plus its' good practice, practice, practice.....learn how to set the car up, see what happens when you make changes, take notes....have fun
We all start somewhere.

OK...couple of phots from this weekends' track day. Everyone was out there giving it some ahead of the coming weekends' race day this Friday. Ya, I know....the last pic is of the wrong kind of horsepower
, just thought i'd introduce you to my new neighbor who's decided to set up home on my barbecue on the balcony...
. The two cars behind the Jeep are mine, the Kyosho MP 7.5 Kanai II and the new Hyper 8.5 Pro Kit. The second pic really shows how dry and sandy the conditions are at the track when it doesn't get watered. (that was probably the only part that didn't get a hose down that day.

Tommy, our season is over here now that summer is kicking in, will be starting in october, but this time it will be on a new track, it's 475 meters long per lap, if you guys have a team there, why dont we put a schedule together and have weekend race over here on our track once we are setup.
Btw we are running AMB systems (Lap counting systems) and following IFMAR rules / regulations.
You have my nickname keep in touch if you decide to pop on over here.
Cheers
Ah thats a desert dove, they bring you good luck you know, well according to our local beliefs
