if you have issues tuning that carb, try the OS20E carb
i have the same motor and it helps it tune alot easier
i am no longer running the motor though
went to my buddy's S5

Oh crap! Really, tunning issues? Thanks. I'll see how it comes about once I start breaking it in tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Here's some pics of my 8ight and my whole fleet LOL. plus you guys can see where i work on my RC's. Its just some storage shelving and peg board. Took me awhile to save up and buy it instead of parts/upgrades but it was really worth it.

My 8ight was an RTR and is now a "Pro". All kit parts, a Hyper .21 8-port Race, 2 HS-645MG servos, 1600mAh Orion battery pack, Eck Teck front and rear hinge braces, HD brakes, Himoto High downforce wing, Proline HardDrive, DE rear skid plates and home-made rear arm guards.

The ofna MBX Comp is stock except for the Axial .28 Spec-1 in it LOL.

HPI E-Savage....stock.

Revo 3.3....O.S. 18tm, traxxas sway bars and wing mount. HS-645MG (see a pattern here don't we ) Tinity Pipe, Center diff and rear brake, Custom receiver mount, throttle servo mount, I cut the stock boxes apart.

Hey Losifriend,I see quita a lot of those car stands on this forum, the ones made from plastic tube. Are they specific car stands or are they made from electrical conduit and elbow joints...?? I've never seen a green one and thats why I ask,if there a generic item and sold as is,a link to a sales sight would be nice.I;d like one to hold my HPI Bajs when it arrives and i've seen that they're pretty much customisable....

Thanks,Mr Terminator...

I have both carbs and whilst the OS20E tunes a little easier the hyper carb gives more performance.
If you have trouble holding a tune with the hyper carb look to the replacement O-ring seals from nitrohouse.
Also don't adjust the mid needle unless you know how it works.
The Hyper 21 8 port is a cracking engine for the money

Mr Terminator
i dont know if you where talking to Losifield but im the only one i've seen with a green one. there is no site for the stand. I just made it outa PVC pipe from the Home Depot. it cost me like $10-15 and i have enuf left over to almost make another. I just custom built it to hold ANY 1/8th scale buggy. The color is actually Kawasaki Engine Green (the automotive enamel). I painted it that way so the nitro and grease wouldn't eat the paint off the stand. If you got any questions or want me to build you one just PM and we can work something out.

here is my Duratrax raze. I love it. It is one hell of a durable buggy. It has taken countless 6+ foot high jumps on one wheel and it just keeps going.

Yeah it was you buddy, sorry bout that got a little mixed up.Just wondering if it was made out of the PVC tubing as we dont see that many over here in the UK.The tube and elbows are available over here in the DIY stores Like B&Q and Homebase so now I know i'll get some and make one, thanks for the offer though matey, much appreciated and a nice workshop you have there, looks well organised and clutter free, just how I like it.I border on the edge of obsession with everything being in order and straight lines,I must have some form of OCD or something....

Slayer, dude, seroiusly, you should submit some of your action pics to a magazine, I'd be willing to bet that someone would see your talent, not everyone can pick up a camera and get shots like that, awesome job, time after time!!![sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif] Keep it up!!!

Osiris...you can't go wrong with Nikon....

I noticed in the write up that the battery for the A100 is exclusive to that model. That usually gets my bells ringing.

I don't have experience with the Sony and I'm just going with the write up on it, http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydslra100/ but for my money...NIKON. It's what the pros use mate and you can get a seriously nice camera based on what the pros use but made more for regular joes like you and I.

Good luck.

There is much better, like a Cannon or Nikon, Id stick with those two brands. They make the some of the best DSLR.

The A100 is sonys first DSLR.

I'm using a fairly inexpensive DSLR its a Nikon D40, about 600 bucks.

I was as actually looking at the D40, I could get it for about 400$ brand new.

The answer is probably no, but does the camera have a movie mode on it?
