I've always used loctite on those screws especially the screws that hold the engine to the chassis. Pretty much you should use loctite on any screw that threads into metal.

You should shim it so there is just the slightest amount of play. As far as lock tight goes use just a touch on teh CB screw if you use too much it may transfer onto the bearing and seize it up. I however dont lock tite this nut because i am always working with the clutch. The motor mount screw need always be lock tited.

Never loctite that screw, one day you'll be in a rush and you'll strip the head, then you'll see the agony of that mistake. Just tighten it up by hand, then give it a little nip.

yeah use locktight with caution on the CB screw. In most cases you can nip it tight enough to stay but sometimes it just works itself loose. If this continues to be a problem, use the smallest amount of locktight and always use a low strength because as Da Smak says, one day you will regret it cuz you'll destroy the screw head trying to get the dam screw out the next time you put some new shoes in.

I loctite all mine and if there is any problem in getting it loose I just use some heat. So far never had to. Just think what can happen if it comes loose at full RPM 30,000 plus! [X(]

YES you wanna use loctite on any screw that goes into metal and espeacially the engine
as far as the clutch bell make sure you have it were it spins freely(using shims if neede) and then yes put a drop or 2 of loctite on the clutch bell bolt and tighten it

Use loctite. Blue loctite. Also, NEVER use button head screws there. Use a cap head, you can tighten it down more and if it strips you can get it out with a pair of pliers.

you can use button heads... one some buggies there's no room for a cap head , like the 8ight for example...all you need is a dremel with a cut disc on it...cut a groove in it if you strip the head and back it out with a flat head screw driver.
i only loctite it 1 time..without the cb one it...let the loctite dry then back the screw out and put everything on it....i do the same with the wheel nuts..

with shims! ie: washers
