I don't how much you like dealing with ebay, but you can find a JP-2 on ebay for around $35-$55 for one new or used a little.

yes the JP-2 gives mid-top with out taking away bottom end, and I heard (don't know if this is true but I heard it) that the JP-2 gives the same bottom as the JP-1 and has more mid-top. like I said don't know if its true that just what I heard. so please nobody get mad if this wrong.

Whats going on mate? I'm sure you started this thread looking for a low end pipe? You've decided to get a high end one now?
You really need to think where your engine makes its power and enhance that and gear to suit is what I say.
What engine was it again?

What he can't change his mind???? if he was forsure he was going with a low end pipe he wouldn't need to ask what pipe then.
the peak power on that engine is up past 22,000 rpms, so I don't thank a low end pipe would be that good on that engine, and if he runs on/ or the track he runs on changes to a more open track then he has to buy another pipe, or he can a mid-top end pipe that will work great with that engine and then put a smaller CB for a tight track and then if he runs on a more open track then all he has to do is get a bigger CB and put on there and he's good to go.

i think jonnymac was kidding, but yes i also changed my choice to a mid-top end pipe because someone that has the engine i have said it has plenty of bottom end to run a top end pipe.

Thanks

jelly bean if you more power than that engine has (which I don't thank that will be soon but when that time comes) you might want to look in to the STS 28 and 30. or if theres somone that that you just can't beat then just get the STS 30, and a 16-18 tooth CB and smoke them.

the STS 28 is about the same price, and I thank is might be a little bit cheaper.
The STS 30 is a little bit more but not much.

yeh I know that feeling. Once I was running mine in the backyard and the air filter popped off, and had to pull the hole engine apart and clean it, but I saw it quick anouph no dirt got in the piston/sleeve. so no damage done, hope the same for you, and no damage done to yours either.

i think it ruined the piston and sleeve because when it gets hot it gets really hot and the engine shuts off even though its still got 1/4 of a tank of gas left. and this is what happened to my old stock ofna engine with the same airfilter so i think this airfilter is junk. i can get a new piston and sleeve off ebay for 38.00 though so i think im gonna get that and a new airfilter and then save up more for a pipe again.

Thanks

for a airfilter get the Jammin 2-stege filter, and then get a small hose clamp and clamp the air filter to the carb to keep it from coming off.

I just got my tires today so im gonna try those out and see if i can get it to run. If it is still acting like it was last time im gonna have to take it apart and probably have to dump another $40.00 in it before i can get a pipe I hope i can find a way to make more money fast so i can hurry up and get the new pipe and stuff.

Thanks for all the help again
