Hi guys I'm new the to the RC world, I've been reading reviews and article and I would like to know what you think would be the best.
-Sportwerks Turmoil RTR
-Ofna Hyper 8 RTR w/macstar .28
-Team associated RC8 RTR
-Team Losi 8ight-T RTR
-Thunder tiger ST1 RTR
Team VTX VTX-B1 RTR
I'm looking at buying 2 of them 1 for myself and 1 for my 12 old son. If you think my choices are no good please let me know.
Thanks
Sadoo

I would see if you could get the Hyper 8.5 RTR, which is not sold in the states but should not be a problem to get from over seas. The Hyper 8.5 is a MUCH better buggy then the 8 RTR and comes with a good Hyper legal race engine and much better steering servo.

I would go with the Losi, probably the best radio equipment, I would also suggest getting the same car for you and your son, you'll be able to share ideas and help each other if you have the same chassis

im with murph.... get two of the same... makes tuning alot easier and shared parts at the track. ST1 would be my choice if youre on a budget Hypers do have crappy engines (I have a Hyper with an Axial in it and I love the thing) Losi is a bulletproof choice nice engine, nice engineering parts are everywhere.
I just got and ran my Turmoil Pro today and absolutely love the thing and they are cheap as rollers right now on Amain. not had it long enough to say go get one but I am liking mine. whatever you get there are loads of people here to help you out so youre kinda safe just depends now on how much money you want to spend. good luck

Caster Racing ZX-1R. Great product for the price. Same as the Losi, Mugen, Sportwerks, etc....in regards to quality and durability.
It is new to the states but the new team drivers are doing remarkably well. It is a popular brand over in other markets. I am sure it will be a household name in a year or 2 in the U.S.

I love my ZX1-R, alot of people are impressed by it at my local track. Handles great, smooth and well planted on the track. Not as twitchy as other buggies.
