There is a prop -impeller type device inside the housing, with a nozzle to turn the boat.

Pletty cool rig, I had one of those.

Do you want to know how we surf in Pennsylvania........we don't unless it's on the wake of a boat. Here's a rather unimpressive 7:24 minute video of simple back and forth lake ripping. This board will eventually end up in Ft. Myers where those tiny Gulf of Mexico ankle busters will be bare backed.

Thanks for the board John....Surfcurls.com is da kine!!

Be sure to watch in 720p or 1080p.

reply to Saildoggy on "carbon Sheila"
eps core, all carbon fiber with epoxy - no fiberglass on any part of board or Sheila.
Light and very strong. Same layups as fiberglass just less layers.
Sheila has foam chunk strapped to her back leg, as she is too skinny to self right quickly in large surf.

No need to use carbon at all except that is by other business when not working in the film industry as PropMaster, set dressing
www.carbonsales.com

Sheila is for sale - complete with transmitter

AWESOME video, sick air maneuvers!
That board and set up rips for sure!
Just back from a really fun session with Justin-san at The Hammer, Doheney, great RC surfing, some killer floater off the lips and fast, tight sections right in the pocket!
Thanks for the bed and breakfast Justin and family, great times, great peeps and a really fun session!
Justin cooks up a mean breakfast!

Justin also got some killer fast, hollow secitions and good run times. Seems my slightly older LiPo pack has much better run times than the new one, just need some more confitioning on the new one.

Awesome Christmas party last night with Doheney Longboard Association as well.

Reporting on the new hybrid flex shaft, full thumbs on this Doc Curlz, my board has never run better!

Alright guys. So most of you live on the West Cost or those tiny depressing Hawaiian Islands and have access to some pretty pitiful bodies water and all you guys do with your rc boards is surf, surf, surf. Well I'm here to tell you that those of us who are land locked have some pretty innovative ways to run our rc boards. Notice I didn't say surf our boards.....Check out the video of my Kysosho hard at work......

Make sure to watch it full screen and at least 720p or 1080p.
