G'day Sicko's,

Heaps of waves around in Gero at the moment.
Stole Offshore's NQD and ran4 packs at "Pages Beach" yesterday lunchtime and another 4 packs at "Stockfence" early this morning.

Maiden voyage for the antique in the morning, picking up Luke at 7am.
Hopefully Bob will be able to make it too.

Luke and I got plenty of awesome 2 -3 foot waves at Sunset Shorebreak today.
No pics, Bob was off surfing elsewhere, I don't blame him, it was offshore all day.

More offshore perfection again today.
Stockfence and St Georges both going off.
Luke is surfing really well too.
He was carving up the right handers at the fence and really ripping up the lefts at St Georges.
Offshore Spray is starting to catch a few.
I got a few screamers out back at Stockies.
Too much fun!

Hey crew,

I took Offshore Spray and our 10 year old son Joseph for a fun surf late this arvo.
Wind had swung SE so we went to "Pages" and shared 4 packs in perfect peeling lefts just 20 feet off the beach.
Joseph was really ripping it up with some cool rolls and 360's and nice airs off the end section.
We surfed until dark.

Awesome week for waves!

She probably got the idea of a $200 Board
For Stock fitted Boards Out Of China ?

Problem is, They showed a Custom Board
Built and Fitted To The Max from Hugh U.S.A.

P.S. I Love R/c Surf Stories.
We Hit it Tonight, full moon
and triple overhead. Chased Some Barrels.
No One To Video. Maybe next time.

Hey Crew,
Just got back from "Stockfence".
Inside Stockies was peaking at 2 to 3 foot and really going off.
Take off was perfect A frames with long smooth walls for full throttle cutbacks into the pit.
NE wind was opening up the tubes as they got in close to the fence post through the end section.

Best hour and a half RC Surfing I have ever had

Happy with the overall running gear layout in the 'housing' - mark out the housing flange and cut the hatch cover to size.
Having molded the hatch cover prior to cutting out the housing allows for a 'profiled fit' ensuring a good water tight seal.

Running a 'surface drive prop' allows for the water pick ups to be placed - behind/inline with the prop - above the water line, reducing the drag.
The propelled water spray released from the prop blade freeing itself as it surfaces from the water will provide a consistent water feed to both the motor and ESC - even at low speed.
The water pick up inlets protruding inside the housing are positioned away from the hulls deck and housing sides, ensuring adaquit space to position the 'two batteries' at the lowest possible CG, which will improve stability and self righting.
This board will have 'no' appendages protruding from its running surface, which should make for 'increased run times' and 'acceleration/speed performance'.

Hi Karl - I reckon you must have the fastest rc surfer around.

If you did not pitch at the event - how do you feature in the Bro Down 2 video.......?

Hey MJ.........LOL

Unfortunately ....... What it Looks like - is not necessarily - What it goes like..................LOL

Kind of like those restaurant menus with the awesoem meal choice pictures on - they never look as good when they arrive or taste as nice as they look in the picture......

This build concept is a flier - so its hard to give it my all - thinking that 'maybe'- just maybe- it wont work...................my youngest son Jensen reckons h'ell have it if I'm not happy with it, so it wont be a total loss......LOL

Thanks for sharing your build - it s great to see your process. There is no doubt that your boards are 'The Bench Mark'

My thing has always been trying different designs/concepts/theories - Just love the INNOVATION and R&D - as a good ARTIST friend of mine shared - Its the CURIOSITY that keeps us BUZZING.

Keep the STOKE !
