Default slalling when brake

my car stalls when braking its not the idle gap changed clutch last time it worked this time it has not should I chane thi spring possision its 2 pice clutch with spring on the outer side all way round

The clutch spring either broke or the ends came apart. If it didn't, you might need to reverse he shoes so they face the other way in case they're engaging too soon.

what if there the wrong way it will stall when brake. it can just be ticking over not moving and I brake it will cut out

If the car is not moving but the engine is idling fine and then you apply the brake and it stalls...then your idle screw is not set correctly.

The idle screw maintains the minimum idle speed.
