Unhappy How to replace a front DC motor with a servo?

Hey there guys,

I am more into programming & arduino than RC and I've got a cheap RC car from my childhood.
Somehow front DC motor started rolling free, probably because of gears.
I wanted to change the motor with a servo but then I broke the steering linkage. I guess that's what it's called, the one holding the two tires together.
Then I replaced it with a own made plastic linkage made from plastic cards.

But the thing is now I do not know how to place the servo and what to use.
Can you take a look at the photos and tell me what parts & bits I would need to buy to be able to drive my car again? I don't know it's scale.

I would share the photos of my car but it says you gotta have 10 posts before sharing URLs. So I could DM it to you or something I guess.

Thank you!

post a URL without WWW to where you have the photo loaded, it's not clear what you are asking without a photo

this doesn't look like a traditional RC Car, but with minimal modification, I don't see why you couldn't convert it over to use standard hobby grade electronics... I would use a Tamiya style steering linkage with turnbuckles between a servo saver, simple as that:

Thank you for the answer!
Well, I didn't really know which parts & bits to buy because I've never done this before and I am not sure which one will fit in there.
So I didn't want to waste money on the stuff that will be useless for me.
Wouldn't I need to know the scale of the car to buy something?
