it might be the cluch cos i had it hapen befor then i brake it stalled to test this put it on somthing and pull the stater cord if the wheels turn then it is the cluch

tried it and it does spin but its fine though i think i might need to adjust the settings servoo likage but the screw is rounded off. help with this?

so the wheels dont turn when you pull the pull start

i never had a problem with it you could try the throttle trim maybe cos i used a different radio to the one i gave u so it might need some adjust ment

i posted the awnswer back a page

it was changing gear at the right time you should hear it
but it might not go any faster as the second small gear is stripped even if you adjust it
you will hear it change but it wont go faster

er i dont have the tuning instuctions for that engin but they would be the same as the smartech insructions i didnt need them any way if you turn the hight speed nedle left it will make it more lean right would make it more rich and the same for the lowspeed i think

nope not that i know of smarthech isnt a very well known make so they dont make any hopups

you could put a bigger engin in it like an OS i wouldnt run it on 20% cos it was only run on 15% most people only use 15 or 16% fuel if you change the fuel it changes the engines tunning that might have been y it was stallin my savage whith a 4.6 engine is only run on 20% and the engine is three times as big if it isnt changing gear cos the small gear is shreded then geat a new gearbox that will make it go faster

Guess what happened. The pull start disengaged and i hade to screw the backplate of the pull start!

Thanks alot for your help. But i have another problem...when i pull the pull start the wheels move. I took the engine out and the metal gear like cogs dont spin freely. Be great it you could help. Thanks

this isnt spining freely than it is you clutch

the screws of the pull start backplate were slighltly loose therefore not lettin it start. You gave me an extra set of shocks. which are better ones

no the 2nd set are crap thats why i got the ones that are on it the second ones bottom out all the time and sink with the wight of the buggy

New problem
The car hardly starts and ends up flooding evey time i nearly pull it. also i think the glow charger is losing its charge. how can i prevent it from floodin and how can i make it start up really fast!
