I just read the whole thing and don't think that the guy on that website was slideways. someone should e-mail s-ways and ask him. I highly doubt that what happened in that cave actually happened after the pictures stopped. wasn't it a little convenient he left the camera back there, and that the pictures didn't come out, or that there were any pictures where "ted" wasn't in good humor? and besides, according to the site, this was in 2001. Why would he be wanting a robot now?

Well, it would have been a let down to the reader if after all that work of digging out the hole, and all they find is a dead end, or a pool of water. Someone really put a lot of thought into it. OOOOOOPPPPS almost spoiled it for the people that have not read it.

found this on another forum.
"I saw an update on that story in another forum, and the truth came out fairly recently, like the beginning of this year. The author himself came on the forum and answered the burning questions.
The cave IS real, it's called Interstate Cave in Utah. The author did indeed discover a small hole and a passage, and he widened it. The pictures and basis is real, but all the wierd supernatural stuff isn't. No blood-curdling screams, no weird rumbling sounds, nothing creepy.
Basically, the author discovered the hole, began widening it, and wrote it all down in his journal. He was going to embelish the story a little bit, but a little bit turned into a LOT. He worked on it for quite a while, long after he actually finished inside the cave. He then decided to put it on the web as a piece of fictional writing.
Me personally, I thought it was a very good story. The ending was a bit dissapointing, although it did indeed hold my attention to the very end"
