Yeah, himoto main upgraded it about a year ago, mine is from over a year ago and I havent opened one since, lol.... Body, wheel color, spur and clutch bell were the only changes, i thought it was just the body and rims. Its a good upgrade, i changed mine to a standard clutch bell.

I like the setup with the standard bell and the big 60T spur. But the spares I got were the old style. Do you have spares for the 60T and 14T now?

Anyways so how is everyone doing with there RXT's? Like a dumb ***** i sold mine and bought a t-maxx 3.3, which turned out to be the WORST idea ever. The RXT hands down out preformed my t-maxx (well tuned might i add) in just about everyway. And the minis just arent doing it for me. Cant wait to get another RXT.

Maybe someone could get some stickers made that say "screw you, himoto works!" That way its a tad bit shorter and could fit on an RC. LOL.

i have 2 tmaxx's, a 3.3 and a .15pro, i have done some upgrades to them but they break everytime we go out,  everytime we jump them a shock comes off, breaks or something happens but they will wheelie, i put an os .18 in my .15 pro.

When i first got rid of it i sold it to my oldest brother so i was still able see it in action. I was constantly breaking shock caps, bulk heads, arms and it just wasnt worth it. The t-maxx couldnt even keep up with the RXT he would just run past me.

yeah, the bulkheads and shocks are the weak points of the tmaxx, its not a bad truck though.  I have broken a few bulkheads in my time.

The only thing that ever broke on the RXT was the rear lower hinge pin holder and that was only after one hell of a kart wheel into a lightpole.

I want to get a Truggy to play around with, maybe build a backyard track and do some play racing. I've been reading some good things about the RXT-1 and some bad. How do they hold up? I read at another site that they break a lot. I read something about a bad clutch bell- does the newer ones have this problem? What about the controls- have you had any problems with them? I was also thinking about a Monsoon, but I've read the RXT 1 is better. Can i get bodies for this buggy because a friend may get one too and I want to paint mine another color.

Thanks!
