Default ring and pinion strippage

Hello all, I've been having a little bit of a nagging problem [>:] Last three times I've ran my Eldorada I've stripped the ring and pinion in the rear diff all three times. The last time it did it I thought [&o] I had it solved, I set up the lash like you would in a full size diff taking out all side to side movement in the diff assembly. About half way thru the 2nd tank, I heard the very bad sound of clicking coming from rear again. Tore down the diff and the ring was trashed, but the pinion made it without chipping or loosing a tooth. I can tell by the wear pattern on the pinion that it was meshing perfect. I know the ring is made of steel, but three of them in as many runs[:@], I only have so many hairs on my head to pull out. Anybody had similar problem?? I am using Lucas Oil Synthetic grease for lube, and the front diff hasnt givin any problems. I had an extra ring on hand, but reluctant to run it until gets on my bad side and I want to kill it.

bro, change the bearings and maybe the case, there may be some play in it somewhere, i havent had a problem with any of mine, acutally i did, a while ago, the front diff on my eldorada but hasnt happened since. I had a problem with my rs4 and i ended up changing the diff housing and bearing on the pinion gear and its been fine since then also.

The engine is the O.S. MAX-18CV-R. Also is it possible to use to much lube inside the case with the ring and pinion??

The only other thing that has changed is the engine, so is there any other gear that anybody has used a gear that is even stronger. I've seen on here were people have used gears from kyosho, but they are for a diff case with an open bottom, my case is totally enclosed. Any suggestions??
