the fuel is as easy as put it in a and get some 2 stroke oil and make sure you mix the right amount. and your lhs can order the parts . i would go with the hpi baja 5b they are common and lhs probbably have parts for them

Check out the Giant scale forum for all your questions regarding 1/5 scale RC cars and trucks.
Personally I can tell you that once you go large scale you'll never go back, the physics, the sounds, the handling, it's all magnitudes more realistic and thrilling. To me it's where the soul of the hobby is. If you can afford it, it's the best side of the R/C hobby to be involved with.
In any case, head on over to the giant scale forum and browse around, you'll get to know the options better that way.

2. The fuel is easy to mix. 40ml of oil in every liter of regular pump gas, it's that simple.
3. Ask in your LHS.
4. The main choices you have to make are first of all, on-road or off-road, then 2wd, or 4wd, then finally if you want to race or not. Based on the answer to those choices, your options become clear... ge If you want off road rear wheel drive not for racing, just for having fun, then you should look at the FG Baja, the FG Monster, and the HPI Baja. If you want on-road 4wd, then it's an MCD Rally.
Like sheograth said, if you can afford them these cars are the pinaccle of the hobby. They're very fast and powerful straight out of the box, the noise and smell is great, and when you get a couple of guys out with them together, it's magical. I wrote a big FAQ about large scale, check it out... http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7217508/tm.htm
