I'm assuming you went over the truggy making sure everything is tight.....did you check your carb settings???...make sure your idle is set at 1mm open with the radio gear turned on?...make sure when you hit the brake the idle setting doesnt change....I would say 3 turns from all in on the hsn and 3 1/2 on the lsn would get it running....make sure your glow plug is good and your ignitor has a good charge...and you have a good prime

A tip for Making it Easier to Start new Engines.......
Get your Blow Dryer out....Turn it to the Hottest setting.....
Warm the Engine with the Blow Dryer for 5 minutes or so.....Dont worry, you Cannot Hurt it with so little Heat.
Try to warm it Evenly, all over,,,,the Head, Block , carb,,,everywhere ....
Once you have it good and warm (Hot to the touch is OK), Start er Up!
I guarantee this will make it Easier to Start, especially if it is a Bit Chilly outside....

hey bro
i got back my car, they did the break in for me...It's so fast, but the rxt1 contains 2 gears but i think it's only working on the 1st gear...
What do u think is the problem? Or the car needs more than 20 meters to shift from the 1st gear to the 2nd or the prob is from the car
thx man

if I didnt race my rxb I would my rxt...(to hard to race 2 classes).....thats why I said in my opinion it would be a waste....if you ever did hit 2nd you wouldnt be there very long at all before u need to get outta it for a turn....I suppose a 2spd for a basher wanting to make speed runs all day would be ok...but if you want to make speed runs all day why buy a off road rc?..lol.....for example...look at the revo..real big on the racer scene...what they do?...the run single speeds and no reverse for the odvious reasons of no need for 2spd and reverse...but also because more moving parts ='s more problems....a traxxas offered racing tranny is way more durable then the rtr's with reverse

you can fix em....if you got a some metric allen wrenches, some screw drivers and a couple other misc tools, and some patience you can fix anything and everything on your truggy...thats why we are here...to help you....we are your online bro's that want to make your rc hobby enjoyable.....
one thing you can do is order another set of brakes and double them up...but your truggy should stop just fine stock if set up properly....the front knod on the rod attached to the throttle servo horn is one adjustment...also on both sides of the center differential you will see your brakes....the 2 screws holding the chrome piece is another...I would get my handy dandy (2.5 mm I think) allen wrench and turn both sets of screw IN 1 turn...try your brakes..if not satisfied turn some more...if they grab too good loosen them up a bit

You also don't need the truck running just turn it and your radio on roll it and hit your brakes till your happy with the stopping power.

The savage is a great monster truck but its not a truggy, on a track your rxt would destroy the hpi savage. Your truck will outhandle the savage, top end will be very close. I own 2 savages and the rxt and the rxt is strong and fast, i would take it over a savage.
**edit**
Also a savage will cost like $600 compared to around $350 for the rxt
