Default New Battery

Just got my new lipo, its an Outrage 3s 3300mah 25c. It makes my truck go so fast, now I just need to upgrade my radio so I could drive it better.

Nothing wrong with it, I use my heli/plane lipos in my cars all the time. There's a lot more selection of high quality lipos for planes/helis.

Exactly my point.. I don't understand why "chris rc" thinks that plane batterys are not good enough for cars.. If the specs fit it whats the problem,
that battery is a 25c Rate and a 50c Burst... 25C Times 3300mah = 82500 then to get amps you divide by 1000.. 82500/1000= 82.5 amps discharge and somewhere around 165 amps during the "50c" Burst...I think that battery is fine...

If outrage made 2S 5000mah batteries I'd be all over them. They make some of the best lipos out there. I use their 6S batteries in my Trex 500 heli and they are great.

With a plane, your almost always going full throttle. With a car, you are rarely to never going full throttle. Im not sure about this, but arent plane lipos heavier than car lipos?

There's a lot more selection of high quality lipos for planes/helis.
Can you tell me where I can get a hardcased plane lipo for racing then if there is a wider selection?

Don't try to be a wise guy, obviously they don't make hard cased lipos for planes, why add the extra weight. Considering racers make up less than 20% of the people who own RC what's your point? Since I'm sure you already knew the answer to your question anyway I'm also assuming you were trying to make a point. A point which only applies to 20% of the people out there. I own over 20 lipos, 2S, 3S, 4S, 5S and 6S from 200mah to 6000mah and HELL YA if more of the plane and heli lipo makers made large capacity 2S lipos I'd be all over them.

Chris, no offence, but you're kind of a snob. You try to relate everything to racing but quite frankly, most of the guys here don't race and more than that, most of the guys asking newbie questions don't race. So try to keep your answers relevant.
