When you click "Post Reply," underneath the entry field there is a button for attachments. Alternatively, you can upload the photo elsewhere and embed it in your post using standard [IMG] codes.
HSP stuff is fine to mess around with but it's best to stick to the well know brands if you choose to stick with the hobby and take it further.

How do you mean?
Assuming that Ican get parts what is the main problem with such a brand?
It looks and feels very durable and apprears to be pretty good quality.
Do you exoect it will not work properly, I hope I didnt waste my money

My Feedback: (7)
martilack welcome to the board. the hsp is more of a off brand and not that it isn't good it's just that the electronics, engine, servo's ect are not up to the higher standards as the big name brands. you shouldn't have any problems with it and it should be fairly durable.the big issue with off brand rc's is parts availability. if you can get parts then you'll be ok.
as far as breaking it in USE A GOOD QUALITY FUEL like o'donnels,tq,ect. in my opinion do not use traxxas fuel as there is too much oil in it and you'll have tuning issues.
do a search for the "heat cycle method" of break in. i use it and it's the best method i've found for ease and durability of the engine.
also you'll need a good temp gun like a ray-tec temp gun. i don't like the $25 temp guns because most are off by 25-50 degree's and i've checked a ton of them.

Are the servos
problematic on brands like HSP? Do they work ok?
I want to get just a plain white body on this thing, like as basic as possible looking,
very boxy and kind of "average looking"
I just really like that look on RC cars.

ok cool
I will look into getting a temp gun.
Have you ever played with a Nikko?
I returned to the RC hobby a few years ago
after having a few Tamiyas as a kid
and I got this Nikko electric mustang at a circuit city in New York city
and the thing turned out to be really sweet.
It was, by my standards, super fast and handled really well.
I saw a youtube vid of the Nikko Ferarri Enzo, I think the 1/14th scale one.
And it ran just like that one. Pretty cool it was
until my moron cousin broke it by stepping on the antenna and picking up the car, rippping the wire out of the servo!
anyways...
