I thought ABS was not as slippery as PVC??? But as magnat said; ABS is slippery as hell untill it is worn in, then it drifts niocely....

DO a couple batteries wearing it in, then get into it.

Spot on

ABS still has a Slippery outer coating

When this gets worn away , your left with a Rather Grippy Plastic Surface..

You should have the Outer Coat worn away in about 20 mins depending on Pipe Used and surface Drifted on..

Yes, it will be slippery when new, bu the ABS is softer so it wil begin to melt and groove up for better traction.

ABS is still harder then rubber so the Grip to Slip factor will be Just fine..

PVC on the other hand is Way Harder compound and there for will always feel like sliding on ICE..

No idea, just look in the yellow pages and go to a plumbing supply store.

unless they are custom built...then no. You can order a set of rims with pre fitted Poly tyres from Magnat, he is selling sets at the moment for the XLR8RC website. They are very nice rims.

Now i have to stop thinking about drifting and get to work..lol

There probably is, but it will cost you much more than going to a store to get it.

you want to break your ghetto shoes in, whether it be PVC or ABS. once you drive on the asphalt a few times the tires get worn and you actually have better drifts as the tire itself wears down.

either way i drift tape, i dont really care what other people say. i like sliding tape because it gives speed and control. Its not like driving on ice but not really like rubber. Electrical tape and some clear plastic tape work real well. yeah it wears out but i can get like 5-8 runs before i really have to re wrap.

Too late.. Orders have been filled... No more Rims to be sold..

Besides, with Air freight.. it would cost a alot to post them from here to anywhere else in the world..

Omg mman thats the first site I or anyone else has found, but i wondering which class of ABs do i need? It would be better if the site was in the US, but that will do. Absolutely no local plumbing supplies in my area sell Abs (i tried like 10), so if i have to resort from buying a 6m length from another continent so be it.

ABS pipe was outlawed a few years back,in Indiana for residential plumbing. it's burning fumes are really bad to breath in compared to PVC.
Not that it matters either way, they will both kill you but you have no chance with one breath of ABS.

the wheels im gonna be using have a diamter of 48MM (1.9 inches) so I want 2inch pipe anyways right? I dont think the .01 inches is gonna matter, but just checking.

Also i forgot to clarify but by 2inch diamter pipe you mean the inner diamter right?
