hi ian
is that the 3rd bycmo your building?
if so if you keep the old msc the 15t motor
will be fine if you cut vent holes / windows out
that should help keep the heat down
having said that if you get a heat sink it wont do any harm

I have been a bit shrewd with them mate, I still got a lot of spare parts and 2 aluminium chassis here.
Have got 4 msc's too and 3 recievers. Also got about 5 standard motors .
Might sit down and actually make measurements and think hard about the 6x4, or you could beat me to it
Not 100% sure if would do the magazine thing again, maybe.

ihi ian
i think i will get my bycmo down
the next time im in the loft
i have a second chassis somewhere
i just dont have the rear end and gearbox
but i could always put the chassis and a set of wheels in place
just to see what it looks like

That's the most people I've ever seen viewing this thread.
I will do a mock up too, at the weekend then we can maybe exchange ideas.

Well, he wants to do the whole drift car thing, so he's going to need a 4x4.
Positive side to this is now I have the extraparts to sit down and look into the 6x4.

hi ian
couldnt you use very grippy tires
for the front and drift tires on the back or
you could always use the coloured tires
that smoke the colour of the tires

Probably wont be until next weekend now to mess about with the mock up.
We have both decided to go 4x4 drift car those specialtyres you mention are cool, have seen them.
Have tried grippy on front and drift on the rear of the bycmo but it doesn't work well.
Will keep you informed dus, not sure what to go for yet but going to shop tomorrow just to have a good look at some.
Will still keep the bycmos.

We have got the uprated motors and the speed controllers, like yours we have ball bearings throughout and those white uprated faster cogs.
Don't forget the uprated driveshafts and locked rear diff.
The proper hydraulic shocks and 4600mah batteries.
I don't think I'd sell them anyway dus.

Yo dus, got the cars
Not tested yet mate due to weather.
Have kept drift tyres on one and put the rally blocks on the other car, so we can test them as a drift car and also as a touring car.
