That's it, it's over complicated. If you use some chemical metal and fill one side then push together, seal the diff.
You will notice better traction, you will also not have to worry about the diff going wrong.

There was a problem with it only wanting to go backwards but since I took it apart and put it back together it now seems ok so I will get some chemical metal and next time it goes seal the box
Is there any good worth while upgrades for this to make it faster etc...

Sorry lads, haven't been on.
I have various mods, as dus says, do you have proper metal bearings everywhere?
That includes all wheels and inside the gearbox.
Speed, well we have got 2 Bycmos that we modified a fair bit,
These bits included a Tamiya electric speed controller and an Ansmann racing 18 turn motor.
They went pretty damn quick madmunkey.
Choosing the right tyres and fitting foam inserts are a must.
I will look through to find pics of our cars or will take some new pics.

This is very true dus, to fit conventional wheels you will need a 12mm hex hub conversion.
This took me a while to do because I didn't realise how easy it was.
dus advised doing it, I never at the time reaslied it was just four bits of plastic and thought you needed to drill the hub to fit bigger pins.
At the moment your wheels are only 10mm hex.

My mate had an Evo 6, good cars, he spent a fortune on it.
You can fit the 190mm shells or the 200mm shells .
Have you got the hydraulic shocks and the red uprated springs?

hi madmunkey
yeah as ian said you can fit both the 190mm and the 200mm
the bycmo car is a 190mm
the 200mm bodyshell will have a wide stance to it
you just need to make sure that when drilling and fitting
that the car sits in the middle of the shell and has 5mm on the left and 5mm on the right
or your car will look funny (not in a good way)

hi madmunkey
here are some photos i took for ian to show the 12mm hex hubs
and some shells as you can see the 200mm shells have a wide overhang

Very sorry to hear this, how old is the cat? do you think it was someone who did this on purpose to keep cats away?
We have got 2 cats and I can imagine you are all upset.
Will you get another cat for your Daughter?
Weather has been good although been working on real cars all weekend not exactly enjoying the weather.
Will be barbecues soon
